Cabinet Refinishing & Painting in Jacksonville, FL
Give your kitchen a new look without the cost and mess of new cabinets — a smooth, hard-wearing finish on the boxes, doors and drawer fronts you already have.
Cabinet Finishing
A New Kitchen Look, Built on Careful Prep
Many kitchens around Jacksonville have solid cabinets with dated stain or worn paint. Refinishing keeps the boxes, layout and countertops you already have and changes everything you see: color, sheen and smoothness.
Cabinet finishing is mostly preparation. We label and remove doors and drawer fronts, degrease every surface (kitchen grease is the number-one enemy of paint adhesion), sand, fill dings and open grain where needed, and prime with a bonding primer before the finish coats go on.
Doors and drawers are finished separately for a smooth, even surface, while the cabinet boxes are masked and painted in place with the rest of the kitchen protected. Hardware goes back on once the finish has cured enough to handle daily use.

FAQ
Cabinet Finishing Questions in Jacksonville, FL
Still have a question?
Call or text us — we are happy to talk through your project in English or Spanish.
(904) 674-7547Is painting cabinets worth it compared to replacing them?
If the cabinet boxes are solid and you like the layout, refinishing usually costs a fraction of new cabinets and takes days instead of weeks, with no demolition. If the boxes are water-damaged or falling apart, replacement may be the better call — we will tell you honestly.
How long will my kitchen be out of service?
It depends on the size of the kitchen, but most of the disruption is during the prep and spray days. We keep a path to the sink and fridge where possible and give you a clear schedule in your written estimate.
Can you paint oak or stained cabinets white?
Yes. Stained oak is one of the most common cabinet makeovers. It needs thorough degreasing, sanding and a bonding primer, and on open-grain oak we can discuss grain filling if you want a smoother look.
