Light Carpentry & Pressure Washing in Jacksonville, FL

The property maintenance that keeps a home looking cared for — wood repairs before paint, and a deep clean for the surfaces Florida humidity turns green.

Light Carpentry & Pressure Washing

Fix the Wood, Wash the Grime, Then Paint

Paint cannot fix rotten wood. In Northeast Florida, rain and humidity attack the bottom of door frames, window sills, fascia boards and the trim nearest the ground. We cut out the soft sections, replace them with new or rot-resistant material, prime every cut end and caulk the joints so the new paint has something solid to protect.

Light carpentry also covers the small jobs that pile up: baseboards and shoe molding, door casings, sticking doors, loose handrails, shelving, and small repairs to fences, gates and outbuildings.

Pressure washing brings back siding, stucco, driveways, sidewalks, pool decks and patios coated in mildew, algae and salt residue. We use the right pressure for each surface — soft washing with a cleaning solution for siding, stucco and screens, higher pressure only on hard concrete — so nothing gets etched or damaged.

FAQ

Light Carpentry & Pressure Washing Questions in Jacksonville, FL

Still have a question?

Call or text us — we are happy to talk through your project in English or Spanish.

(904) 674-7547
Will pressure washing damage my siding or stucco?

Not when it is done correctly. Siding, stucco, painted surfaces and screens get a low-pressure soft wash with a cleaning solution; higher pressure is reserved for concrete and pavers.

Do you fix rotted wood before painting?

Yes. We probe trim, fascia and sills during the estimate, and any rotted wood we find is listed separately so you can see exactly what will be replaced before we paint.

How often should I pressure wash my house in Florida?

Many homes around Jacksonville benefit from a wash every year or two — more often on shaded sides, under big oaks or near the ocean, where mildew and salt build up faster.
